(이것(샌프란시스코의 시계투어)은 제프의 미국내 5개도시에서 열릴 Basel /SIHH tour중 두번째 기착지였다) The first show played to a similar size crowd at the Beverly Hills Country Club, and the next stops on Jeff's tour are Manhattan and Philadelphia in June, and Chicago in September (첫번째투어는 비벌리힐스 컨트리클럽에서 열렸고 다음기착지는 (3,4번째) 6월에 맨하탄과 필라델피아 그리고 9월에 있을 시카고 투어이다) - see details below (자세한사항은 밑을 잘봐라…낄낄 미안해 이런건 해석안해도되는데 울나라말로 해석하니깐 웃기네). We were also fortunate to have with us executives from Girard-Perregaux, A. Lange & Söhne, Ulysse Nardin, and Maurice Lacroix, each of whom brought along a wonderful assortment of timepieces, plus goodie bags for the attendees (굉장한종류의 시계들과 참석자들을 위한 goodie bags (머 기념품가방같은걸로 해석하자구)을 가지고온 Girard-Perregaux, A. Lange & Söhne, Ulysse Nardin 과 Maurice Lacroix의 간부들이 우리와 같이 투어에 함께한것은 상당한 행운이었다),  G-P went above and beyond, generously giving each guest a set of hand-made wine glasses to commemorate the event!  (Girard-Perregaux는 각각의 게스트들에게 투어를 기념하기위해 수공으로 만든 와인잔을 선물하는등 상상을 초월할정도였다) Also on hand were WatchTime Editorial Director Wolfgang Blum and renowned horological journalist and WatchTime Editor in Chief Joe Thompson (그리고 와치타임메가진의 편집감독인 볼프강 블럼과 유명한 시계(학)저널리스트이자 와치타임의 편집장인 조톰슨이 동행했다)   . Of course Jeff Kingston was also meeting guests and sharing his personal insights (물론 제프킹스턴 역시 이번만남의 게스트였고 그자신의 개인적인 견해를 여러 사람과 나누웠다) There isn't any place else where you can meet over 100 fellow enthusiasts, executives from leading manufacturers, the head honchos of the top watch magazine, and get the scoop on the newest watches from an inside source (이장소는 100명이 넘는 시계매니아들이나 잘나가는 시계회사들의 간부들, 최고의 시계잡지의 머리(편집자)들 그리고 내부정보로만 알수있는 최신시계들을 구경할만한 장소는 절대아니였다- 주: 스위스가 아니기 때문에…)   We've had many great collector events in the San Francisco area over the years, and this one certainly ranks close to the top (여지껏 샌프란시스코에서는 최고의 시계수집가들을 위한 이벤들이 많았으나, 이번모임은 분명히 그중에서도 최고였을것이다). Guests began arriving around 11 a.m., and they were greeted by WatchTime Associate Editor Aubrey Allia, who is coordinating reservations for these shows.(게스트들은 11시에 도착하기 시작하였고 그들은 이번쇼의 예약담당인 와치타임메가진의 부편집인 오브리엘리아로부터 환영받았다)  Unlike the other dates on Jeff's tour, this was a luncheon, and soon after the doors opened, eager enthusiasts were trying on pieces from Lange, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux and Maurice Lacroix.(다른 제프의 투어와는 달리 이번쇼는 점심오찬이었고 쇼가시작되자마자 메니아들은 Lange, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux 그리고 Maurice Lacroix에서 가져온 시계들을 착용하기시작했다) Several guests brought pieces from their personal collections, and there was something for everyone, from simple handwinders to exotic complication cocktails and pieces by leading independent watchmakers (몇몇의 게스트들은 자신이 소유한 시계들을 가져왔고, 잘나가는 시계회사들의 간단한 핸드와인더부터 컴플리케이션까지 모든사람들이 착용할 수 있는 기회가 있었다) At 12:15 Jeff started trying to move people to their seats (12시15분경부터 제프가 게스트들을 그들의 좌석으로 착석시킬려고 하였다) It took some effort to pry the collectors away from the manufacturers tables, but the cattle prods brought in for this purpose ultimately proved effective, and by 12:30 the show was underway (게스트들을 시계회사의 테이블로부터 좌석으로 착석을 시키는데 조낸 빡셌다). Wolfgang Blum introduced the manufacturer executives, each of whom addressed the crowd briefly, highlighting their news for 2006 (볼프강 브럼이 시계회사들의 간부들을 소개했고 간부들은 회사의 2006년에 있을 큰뉴스들을 간단히 소개했다). For A. Lange & Sohne, there are two new models: the complicated and beautiful Datograph Perpetual, and the simple and elegant Richard Lange (A. Following the manufacturer presentations, Jeff took over the podium and his slide show got under way.
